- He already responded and thinks as I do that something is keeping the
- serial port open.
- But what?
- Well I tried writing an arexx script to load GpFax Right after bootup
- with "unlisten" then "listen". The arexx port only works if I properly
- load GpFax, I think, because I still get "where is the modem" no matter
- what variation of the Initialization string/dash_option I used, (about 15
- of them).
- Gpfax does not want to receive/transmit because it does not get to
- Initializing the modem (Every variation any one suggested of the init
- string and some I found in the ZyXEL manual was tried-that is not IT!)
- and therefore will not accept an arexx script's arexx commands.
